Spanning over 9 acres of wooded area, wildflower meadow and parkland walks, preserving wildlife and nature have been key considerations in the development of Shepherds Retreat.  

Each Shepherd's hut is thoughtfully designed for comfort, with a kitchenette and seating area, a Salamander Hobbit solid fuel stove, a cosy sleeping nook, and a modern en-suite bathroom. Outside, you’ll find your own BBQ and seating space, with huts positioned and landscaped for your privacy.

We’re passionate about protecting our surroundings.  Our aim is to provide quality glamping accommodation with visitors taking no more from the environment than is produced during their stay. Over the years, we’ve planted more than 1,200 native trees and hedgerows, creating vital habitats for wildlife. Powered by solar energy and guided by eco-friendly principles, our site lets you tread lightly while enjoying a relaxing rural retreat.
